1. Can Do:

Typing: Typing is an optional program that your child can work on if they would like. Your child will need their username and password to access the typing activities. The username should be last name, first initial, middle initial and then 30 (graduating year). The password should be rl (lowercase), lunch number, and ! (exclamation point). (No spaces for username and password.) Feel free to reach out if you need assistance.

2. Can Do:

Sight Words: You can practice reading and writing any of the second grade sight words. Lists of second grade sight words are included. Different ways to practice include: spelling the words in rainbow colors, spelling words in all capitals, spelling words in fancy letters, spelling words in a sugar tray, spelling words with sidewalk chalk, playing TicTacToe using words instead of X/O, or playing Hangman - The ways to practice are endless.

3. Can Do: Dental Lesson

We have provided a Dental Lesson from the Mazie Gable Tooth Fairy. Feel free to discuss other dental health topics with your child. For the video click below.

4. Can Do: Social Studies

Although we were unable to complete Junior Achievement in the classroom this year, they have graciously provided the materials for you to be able to do this at home! 5. Can Do: LadyBug Science Unit

We are so excited to be preparing a Ladybug unit for you!! We have ordered a Ladybug Land kit with live larvae that arrived this week! We will be providing multiple activities that are optional ways for you to research, observe and have fun with the life cycle of a Ladybug.
